Happy Harvest Card

Hello Everyone!  I tried something new today.  I made a card using the "book" feature on the Elegant Edges Cartridge.  I think it turned out kind of cool, but since this type of card is harder to open I don't think I will be making a lot of them.  You have to leave your binding material ( twine, ribbon etc) loose enough so you can open the card.  I was going to use ribbon but the twine makes it much easier to open.  So have a look and tell me what you think!

I am loving my new Elegant Edges Cartridge.  I use to have to hunt through my cartridges for different shapes to layer, no more!!  I also used my Damask Decor Cart for the pumpkin.  Paper is by K & Company and Core'dinations.  Baker's Twine in Honeydew, Mandarin and Cappuccino.  I used VersaMagic ink in Gingerbread, 3 green buttons, 4 gold eyelets, and 1 Jolee's glitter flower.  I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Have a wonderful weekend everyone and hope you can all fit in some crafting along with your family fun time!  Love all your comments so much THANKS!! If you are not following, join us!

What a beautiful card. Sorry I haven't visited sooner. I have been busy with school again since it is the end of the 9 weeks and I have an intern. I feel terrible about all the delays, but I am trying to catch up now!

Love this card! I have that cart and need to try this. I wonder if it would help it to open easier if you scored the front slightly under the eyelets. Love your embossing and buttons too. Thanks for joining in this week's Tuesday Throwdown.
