3 Little Cupcakes

Onward we go with more Birthday Cards (gotta get that stockpile up for October!).  This was inspired by that color challenge at Birthday Sundaes: pink, green and white. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those colors together!  Here is the card:

I made it pretty clean and simple because the colors are really the focus.  Here is the recipe:
  • Cricut Cartridge: Straight from the nest
  • Paper: DCWV and Cloud 9 Design
  • Versamagic Ink: Hint of Pesto, Perfect Plumeria
  • Button, Baker's Twine,  and Jolee's rhinestones
  • My own Digi sentiment
This card is entered in the following challenges:
  1. Birthday Sundaes Ch#23 - color challenge
  2. Sentimental Sundays Ch #67 - Birthday Bash
  3. Terrific Tuesday Challenges - Straight from the nest
Thanks so much for looking in and visiting with me!  You blogger Buddies are such a GREAT group of kindred spirits and I LOVE having you in for a visit!  Take Care :)

Birthday Green and Gold

Have you ever started on a card with a picture of exactly what you want in your mind and then - WHAM! What happened?  LOL, I knew I was going to use this beautiful Bird from the Cricut Cartridge "Straight From the Nest" (LOVE this Cart!!), but for some reason it went a different direction...and I like it!  I counted up the Birthdays that I need cards for in October and there was like 12 or so.  October is my busiest Birthday month, thus I am starting early and I DON"T want them all to be Halloween cards!

I have to admit I LOVE the branch on the second page!  You could really give this card to either sex, cause men and women both like to fluff out their feathers and preen a bit! Here is the recipe:
  • Cricut Carts: Straight from the Nest, Plantin Schoolbook
  • Paper from K&Company and Core'dinations
  • VersaMagic Ink-Spanish Olive, Distress Ink-Tie Dye
  • Bakers Twine,  Heidi Grace Rhinestones
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
  1. Fantabulous Cricut Ch Me Monday#74 - Birthday Bash
  2. Paper Playtime Ch#53 - Anything Goes
  3. Little Scrap Pieces - No Challenge, Challenge
Have a GREAT week everyone and thanks so much for spending your precious time with me!

Caught a Bug?

I was looking thru my card box and couldn't believe I haven't made a "Get Well" card!!! For Shame!  There were a couple of  fun challenges going and I made a buggy get well card for them!  The Jar has an overlay of plastic vinyl  that is hard to see, but it makes it looks like a real jar!

This last picture is the very back of the card.  I have never shown what I put on the back so here it is.  I always make a matching color label with my blogspot address, then recipients can go check out my blog...GOOD IDEA!!!  Here is the product list for those who would like it:
  • DCWV cardstock  Nana's Kids,  Core'dinations
  • Cartridges:  Dinosaur Tracks and  Kate's ABC's
  • Cuttlebug used Swiss Dots for inside  Jar
  • Red & white Baker's twine
  • Plastic vinyl is a picture protector sheet cut up
  • Heidi Grace  buttons, The Robin's Nest Dew Drops
  • VersaMagic chalk Ink in Midnight Black, Hint of Pesto, Night sky
Challenges this card is entered in:
  1. Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Me Monday #72 "Let's get Buggy with it"
  2. Kaboodle Doodles Ch #79 Primary Colors
  3. My Craft Spot Ch#20 It's hot out there-use hot bright colors
  4. 4 Crafty Chicks Ch#50 - Twine

    Flower Shoppe FUN

HELLO YOU BLOGGER BUDDIES! Finally was able to play with my new Flower Shoppe Cricut Cartridge I had purchased over a month ago.  It is SO cool....I watched a few tutorials for this cartridge and that helps TONS.  Since I seemed to be heading in a masculine card direction the past few cards I made sure I went FEMALE for this.  I made it especially for a color challenge and the colors are Celery, Lavender and gray...just a beautiful combo!  Here it is:

This was so much fun to do, although the flower is time consuming.  I didn't use many supplies and the card is A2 (4 1/4 x 5 1/2).  I  Used only the Cricut flower shoppe cart, Paper by K & company and Core'dinations cardstock.  Sentiment done by computer and two lavender bling jewels.  That is all! Thanks for stopping by to see what I've been doing.  Love, Love, Love to make cards....gee it really is too bad that housework isn't this entertaining!  Love your comments!! HUGS ALL!!
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
    1. Birthday Sundaes -Challenge #21-Birthday Cards
    2. CR84FN Color Challenge #35 (Celery, Lavender, Gray)
