I seem to be drawn to lavender lately and I am loving the different shades. They blend with so many of my other papers. Today I worked on a card for the Birthday Sundaes Challenge#10. This challenge is to make a Birthday card with lace and pearls on it. Just up my alley, as I tend to love the 'Victorian' look (my friends and family with attest to this lol) Anyway, here is what I came up with:
One of the fun details about this card is the lace...it is PAPER LACE cut with a laser. It looks and stands out on the card as if it were the real deal. Here are the specifics:
Card: 4 1/2 x 6 1/4
Card Stock: Core'dinations in Purple Majesty, generic card stock in a cream and a pale pink
Paper: Lavender dot - Recollections; Floral - Paper Adventures; Pink floral - Anna Griffin; Laser Lace Paper - Paper Pizazz
Cricut Cartridge used: Pagoda - tag; Wrap it up - balloons
VersaMagic Chalk Ink: on all edges of paper in Eggplant
Embellishments: colored pearls and butterfly are from Jolee's Boutique, 1/4 " lavender ribbon
Words: done on computer in Print Shop

Beautiful Card Cindy. You always make such elegant cards. I have a question. Do you print your sentiments then cut them out? I've not done this before and yours always looks so nice.
