Thanksgiving Card - Acorn

I guess I need to get a couple of Thanksgiving cards in the mail so have been feverishly working on that.  This card was inspired by one of my favorite Thanksgiving Hymns: For the Beauty of the Earth.  It is just a lovely song with a sweet thankful meaning.  I love the earth I live on..it's beauty is breathtaking everyday.  I have two beautiful trees outside my bedroom window that are gorgeous no matter what the season, but especially lovely in the fall.  Hope you enjoy this season and this card!

I used papers from Kraft, Core'dinations, DCSV, and MME.  Cricut Cartridge: Give a Hoot for the leaves;  Twine in Honeydew, Mandarin, and Cappuccino; VersaMagic ink in Jumbo Java; Jolee's Boutique for the acorn (don't you love the stitching on it) and the bling inside.  I am entering this card in the following challenges:
I realize that is quite a list, but everyone is in the Thanksgiving mood!  Thanks from dropping by.  I appreciate all the lovely comments. If you are not a follower...hey come follow my blog, I want to get to know each and everyone of you!  HUGS

What a wonderfully thought out creation. The leaves are positioned so pretty, as if they've just fallen quietly from the tree. Thanks for playing along with us this week at The Kraft Journal!

Hi Cindy what a lovely Thanksgiving card I adore that beautiful sentiment. Your colors are wonderful love how you have the accent of orange on the corners with the twine and the pumpkin. Having a challenge at my blog again this week would love for you to link up one of your amazing creations if you get a chance. Karen
