Criss Cross Harvest Card

Fall is almost here and it is time to start those beautiful Fall/harvest/halloween cards! I LOVE this time of year.  It is so peaceful and living in the beautiful Rocky Mountains the scenery is spectacular!  Here is the first fall card of the season:

I found the directions for making a criss cross card at Splitcoaststampers.com.  It is SO easy but the end results are just fabulous, especially if you mix and match your paper.  Love how you also have a little insert card to write whatever you wish.  Here is the supply list:
  • Cricut Cartridges: Damask Decor, Straight from the nest
  • Paper: Recollections, Anna Griffin, Coredinations
  • Twine: Honeydew and Cappuccino
  • VersaMagic Ink in Gingerbread
  • Jolee's Boutique flowers
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
  1. PaperCutz Ch#108 - Going to the Pumpkin Patch
  2. Birthday Sundaes Ch#26 - Criss Cross Birthday Card
  3. My Craft Spot Ch#25 - Happy Harvest
  4. By the Cute and Girly - All things bright and beautiful
  5. Penny's Paper Crafty Ch# 62 - Fall
  6. Little Red Wagon #98 - Use Twine
So excited for this time of year and the coming holidays...the long hot summer is slowly giving way to such wonderful weather it is hard to be inside and craft!  Enjoy September Everyone! HUGS!

Cindy, Awesome creation! I also love the fall. I wish we had colorful seasons here in AZ. But all we have is brown all year round :(

Trusting you that criss-cross cards are truly easy, Cindy, I'm going to follow the tutorial and try one. They have always looked so complicated that I've never done one! I love your stitching marks on the pumpkin and the papers you chose! Fabulous cared.
