Memorable Moments
Hi Everyone :) It is snowing outside and I just want to cuddle down with a blanket and some cocoa, but want to get a new card on here first. This is a simple, sweet card with a sentiment that I have loved for a long time. Here it is:
This card was made completely from my scrap stash. I ALWAYS go there before I start a card to see what I can use....Gee you would think my scrap pile would go DOWN! The papers are from My Mind's Eye Antique Dots book ( LOVE that book of paper), Kraft and coredinations. I used my Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge for the circles. Recollections pearls and their edge punch for the lace edging. The edging is topped off with some of my lovely Earth Brown ribbon. Versamagic Ink in Jumbo Java was used to edge everything. Font used is Franklin Gothic Book. This card is entered in the following challenges:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TREE
GREETINGS! Hope I am finding you well! I know I am feeling a bit better although the head cold wants to linger on - dang! Thanks for the sweet get well comments, I have THE BEST blogger friends! Anyway, on to some business...My dear Brother in Law's birthday is this Saturday so I had to get a card done for him. He is leaving for Mongolia, yes that's right Mongolia, to work for the next two years. It is a great opportunity for him and his family but we will sure miss him, especially my sis. Here is his card:
This was a super fun card to make. I Used the Cricut Damask Decor cart for the card cutout. You wouldn't necessarily go to this cart as most of the cuts are really fancy, but at the bottom of the cart are some great card cutouts like this tree. The Cartridge only cuts out the front so I cut the back of the card to match. My Cuttlebug is such a fantastic find I love it! I used the 'happy birthday' embossing folder for the cuttlebug before I glued on the tree, then inked the embossed words in Versamagic Jumbo Java ink. Cardstock is from Kraft, Core-dinations and the green is from the Robin's Nest. 3 Little Heidi Grace buttons complete the decor and I used the font: Bradley Hand ITC for the sentiment. Flu, Flu go away!
Yes, I have been chanting this since last week, but to no avail. This week I feel just as rotten! Hate this yucky stuff going around. My sweet hubby had it for over 2 weeks and now it is my turn. Sorry, I have not got anything on here, but hopefully I can drag myself to the craft room this week! Hope you are all well out there, my friends! Visit with you soon and STAY WELL, ok? HUGS!

Loved you Yesterday, Love you Still
Hi Good Friends and Paper Craftin' Addicts ( like me;) It is a rainy, overcast day here in the Rocky Mountains and a good time to stay in and play! I have FINALLY colored my first digi. Not sure if this is my thing lol, but I gave it a good try! So here is another Valentine for you, but I think it would also be great for an Anniversary card...
The lovely ladies at Nutcrafters supplied a digi for their currant challenge for everyone to use. It is such a sweet couple, don't you think. The background heart paper is from K & Company, cardstock from Coredinations, I used the scalloped heart from the Cricut Wedding cartridge (it is an older cart), and Swiss Dots cuttlebug embossing folder. The crinkle ribbon is my own hand dyed creation, A sweet doily underneath, Ink is Pink Petunia from Versamagic, 2 different colored heart buttons and the font is Pea Amy. I am entering this card in the following challenges:
