Mothers Day - My Craft Spot Challenge , Paper Cutz #40 challenge

These are two Mother's Day Cards using exactly the same Cricut Cartridge: Wrap It Up.  This fun Cartridge has so many possibilities and every image can be made into a card.  For the two cards I just used different card stock and paper.  The top card I used a two-sided colored Card stock and the bottom card I used white.  Same idea, just very different looks.  I used tags I made for the front of the cards and ribbons and a little bling!  I inked the outside of the white card stock card.  Just goes to show how many different looks you can get with one image!  I told my hubby he could pick the card he wanted for his mom...wonder which he will choose?

PURSES!!! SO CUTE!

Decided to make a few of the darling purses on the 'Forever Young' cricut cartridge. I covered them in FABRIC first, then cut them out.  SO CUTE!
CARTRIDGE USED:   Forever Young
CARTRIDES USED FOR FLOWER:  Paisley
MACHINE INSTRUCTIONS:  Use fit to page for a 12x12 card stock.  Ends up being 4" Set the blade depth at 6, speed 2 or 3, pressure 4.
FABRIC INSTRUCTIONS: Use Heat 'n Bond -- Ultra hold.  Follow instructions to adhere to fabric.  After fabric has cooled, remove backing and adhere to your choice color of card stock.  Then press onto your cricut cutting mat with Fabric facing UP and card stock side down. Cut and WOW you have a fabric covered purse.  The great thing about using fabric is that the purse is more stable, looks and feels real, and you have unlimited choices in color and design!  I inked the outside edges of the purse to make them stand out.  It helps define the purse.  Add bling (I added flowers and rhinestones) and you are done!
SOOOOO....make a bunch and enjoy!

Bird of Bling Birthday Card

Here is a fun Birthday card that is FULL of bling!  My little sister Sharma had her birthday this week and this is the card I made for her..  It is an 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock folded in half.  The cardstock is from the Glitter Pack of DCWV.  The Cricut Cartridge used is Florals Embellished.  Absolutely just love this cartridge, but then again, I love them all!  This is one of the newest carts from cricut and has just awesome floral designs with many layers.  The inside flowers are a fiskers punch.  I added a little bling from Kand company!  I loved this multi-colored large ric-rac, but it was very difficult to get it to stick to the card.  I had to use glue (that didn't work), then adhesive tape (still not enough) then zots! So hope it stays in place, lol!  Thanks for looking and be sure to sign up to be a FOLLOWER!   also would love your comments :)  Have a great Tuesday!
